Uncle Nisim, my mother's brother, was born in 1927, in Bursa, Turkey, to Kadem and Salamon Benardete. He had two brothers (Mair and Yosef) and five sisters (Roza, Sara, Vito, Korin and Inez).
In about 1949-1950 he immigrated to Israel but returned to Turkey (Bursa) after 2-3 years.
